Okay, I’m back pretty much unscathed: I’m back from taking the AP Gov exam! *cheers* Why thank you Norm, I would love beer nuts! *I be a “Cheers” fan!*
Anyway, wow, that exam…I think I did okay…I’m proud of myself. The multiple-choice section was a breeze, and the first three essays were good…but the last essay made me feel like a total dum-dum. My teacher….for weeks now, had been pushing us to GET DOWN foreign policy. Know that foreign policy, please baby-Jesus. Know the president’s informal and formal powers regarding foreign policy. FOREIGN POLICY! GAH! S’WAH WAS THAT!? And what do yah know… Foreign policy wasn’t on there as an essay topic: DOMESTIC policy was. My mind went blank when I discovered this: totally blank. Doooo-mestic….whaaaaaaa? What influence does the President have over Congress concerning domestic policy and vice versa? UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH…………………………………..
